91 galant with TCU problem (Boothwyn 19060)

I have Mitsubishi Galant 1991 $500 Needs TCU/transmission work. Driveable, but stuck in 3rd gear. 4 door automatic SOHC 4 cylinder engine. Only 85000 miles !! Good AC Tires are almost new Recently replaced timing belt, partial exhaust system, water pump, engine computer, and all belts. Exterior has some scrapes - only cosmetic. This was a great commuter car until the TCU went. TCU failure The early nineties Mitsubishi made TCUs are quality computers with the exception of the failing Rubicon electrolytic capacitors that were used to equip these electronic control units. Engine computer or transmission computer, these will break down after five years or so, some last a few years longer but they are basically on borrowed time. TCU failure usually appears as "fail safe mode"- the car drives in second or third gear only.

www.foreignecurepair.com has a TCU rebuilding service for $195 including priority mail return will trade for something small and tradeable.

A Great Gift for All Ages

Rosy Boa looking for a Good Home - Free to serious owner - $75 (Thorndale, PA)

Female Mexican rosy boa in need of a good home. Snake is 6 years old, has Dome Rock coloration (burgundy and tan) which is apparently a very rare variation. I am unable to handle her or take care of her as she needs to be and I am hoping someone wants a rosy boa to complete their collection or start a new one. She comes with a 30 gal. aquarium, special wire mesh top, lid clamps, decorations, hood lamp/light, heat pad, feeding box, gloves, a heat lamp (lightbulb is currently busted in it), carrying box, tongs for feeding and timer to control the hood lamp. There is a new UV light in the hood currently, replaced a month ago. If there is anything else that might help you take care of her that is in my possession, that goes with her as well. I am asking a rehoming fee of $75 only to be sure that she goes to someone who is serious about taking good care of her. If you are interested and can prove you've worked with snakes and lizards before, or have done sufficient research to take good care of her, I'm willing to waive the fee entirely. My primary concern is she ends up with someone who will take good care of her. Initially the snake was handlable and I used to take her with me to go grocery shopping wrapped around my wrist as a bracelet. With some work she can be held again. I simply don't have the time between work and school and she deserves better. If you are interested, please contact me. I can provide pictures of her and the equipment to those interested.
